It is fish-doorbell season!
During spring, fish in Utrecht (NL) swin through the waterways in search of places to reproduce. When the waterlocks are closed, fish wait there and are susceptible to predators. Thus the fish-doorbell: a website where one can wait for fish to show up in the live stream and press a little button, to
help the little fish ring the doorbell - a click opens a door for the fish to pass through.

My wonderful little internet corner

Fun fact, I was around, when the internet became popular and "mainstream". It was a fun and exciting place, something to visit, discover, be amazed by and eventually - leave, to go back to the real world. Now I find that the internet sems seeping more into our daily life - but not the fun, quirky web, but in the form of social media, ads and the like. It feels like the internet is not a place anymore, but something omnipresent in our lives (which is not always a bad thing!). I want to dive more into the fun aspect again, thus the urge to create a useless websit (once again), just for the fun of it. Something that feels like a place - a place of wonder and discovery, a place, a hobby, a cosy and slightly weird little corner of self-expession and a place, that I invite others to discover.
Across the webpage, I have hidden some fun little easter-eggs - hidden pathways to secret areas - how many can you find?
As a grand tea-enthusiast, I recomment you checking out the teahouse section of this page. It is almost like an entire webpage on itself, that I plan to fill with knowledge and data on tea over the months to come.
Until then, enjoy my wonderful little internet corner.
